The work was undertaken by Oxford Direct Services and overseen by Ian. The result has been well received by members and will make access to the mobility beds much easier and will enable lorries to deliver to a hard standing area which will be created in the coming months.

Badger Damage October 2018
Unfortunately, we seem to have attracted a badger onto the allotment again. Damage seems to have been limited to sweetcorn grown on three different allotments. It would be most helpful if members
whose allotment perimeter includes proximity to the outside fence could check the outside fence for any signs of where the badger may be getting in. If we can find the entry point then we will be
able to take action to prevent the badger getting in. As vegetation dies down the committee will check the outside of the perimeter fence with a view to blocking any holes which could be used by
wildlife to get into the allotments.
Next Oxford District Federation of Allotment Associations Meeting
